#blog4nwp – The camaraderie of writers

National Writing Project was and is one of the best professional experiences that I have ever had.

I am a kindergarten teacher and I was able to take subjects such as poetry and Shakespeare back to my classroom for my students to appreciate. The camaraderie of writers and the opportunity to write daily and learn from each other is an experience that helped me grow professionally and enrich my teaching methods.

I will always, always, cherish and be grateful to NWP for everything that I learned last summer. I hope that everyone will be able to have the NWP experience.
