Learning at its Best

#ISTE12

This is cross-posted from my personal blog, elparquenuez.com

I’d love to catch up with folks I haven’t spoken with in awhile, or meet people I’ve yet to see in person. I’m planning to spend most of my time walking around and meeting with people in person.

This year I’m coming from sort of a different perspective. I’ll be working in the technology department of my current district, working with professional development and elearning platforms. Instead of looking at things from the immediate classroom level, I’ll be pulling out my focus to include a systemwide perspective.

Additionally, I’ll be representing the now official Disruption Department. I’ll be speaking a lot with people about individualizing learning, community learning, broadband advocacy, linux, and platform development. If you are connected to, or know anyone who is, any of these topics, please let me know. I’d love to have a chance to discuss the work we’re doing in St. Louis.

So let me know if you’re going in the comments so we can find some time in sunny San Diego!

  1. We’re glad you’re excited about the ISTE conference. Please use the official hashtag: #ISTE12 instead of ISTE2012, so you stay in the loop. Thanks!

  3. I will miss y’all this year, though my wife will be in San Diego the week before #ISTE12. Be sure to spend time together.
