I have been thinking lately about how to revisit some of the older posts and discussions at the Cooperative Catalyst now that we have a wider readership and larger group of authors. My idea is that we would all take turns picking a post or two to revisit. The first post I choose came from the very first week of the CO-OP and was written by Adam Burk.
After seeing Waiting for Superman (WFS) yesterday, I needed to read something that truly analyzed the system not just on the surface, but really gets to the roots of what education can be! Adam’s vision of an education and life is one of wholeness with both our planetary self and our inner and outer self. These are the kind of conversations I wish were apart of WFS, but luckily we have the CO-OP for these kinds of discussions.
Please follow the link below and add your comments to the original post or here.
And if there is another post you would like to revisit, let us know.

Education needs to be for the development of profoundly sane personalities. It is nothing less that will bring about the environmental restoration and rejuvenation necessary to avoid the worst of possible scenarios. It is nothing less that will bring about an end to armed conflict. It is nothing less that will be able to confront the problems yet to be known.
