First Year Reflections

Just over a year ago the Coöp got its start when Aaron, Adam, Chad, and Paula started a collaborative blog to write together weekly about issues and opportunities for change in public education.

This coming week, the founders will share their memories of how the Coöp began, as well as their hopes for where our community goes next.

After this initial week of founders’ reflections, as a member of the Coöp community you, too, are invited to share your journey with the Coöp.

Whether you joined up early or later – whether you post or comment – whether you engage or lurk – we would love to know more about your journey with the Coöp.

If you’re interested in contributing – beginning next week – please tag your post with #coopreflect and include the phrase “First Year Reflection” somewhere in your title.

In reflecting, you might find some of these prompts useful:

  • What was your reason for joining the Coöp?
  • How has the Coöp changed your practice?
  • What are some of the highlights of your Coöp experience?
  • What should the Coöp do next?

We can’t wait to read your reflections and take our next steps together.

Let’s go!
