Irrelevant is the one word that keeps coming to mind when I ponder education in America. I wonder what a wide poll would reveal about how young adults truly feel about education? To me, it is mostly a social experience plagued with mind-numbing curriculum and control for performance that makes little difference and sense to the real world after highschool. Let’s try individual inquiry-based curriculum that can be tailored for each student. Read, write and discuss bigger ideas (Socratic) while providing ops for students to go deeper into subjects of interest and authenticity.
