Spaces of Peace

Spaces of Peace

There are no words that can accurately describe or encapsulate the senseless crimes that took place on December 14th in Connecticut.  Any expose on gun control or childhood safety in which I would write, would only be white noise, overwhelmingly drowned out by the heartbreaking which is currently echoing across our towns, our states, our country and the world.

So instead of trying to fight through the tears on my keyboard, I am only, like many others, going to cry at this moment…but let me leave you with one thought:  The following is imperative…

We must make our schools spaces of peace, our education works of peace, and our lives dedicated to achieving humane peace.
